On May 13, 2021, at the Kyiv Sikorsky International Airport a press conference dedicated to the reconstruction of the Airport in 2021-2025 was held.

Kyiv Sikorsky International Airport is to reconstruct its runway in order to extend it and have a possibility to accept aircrafts such as Airbus A321. Also construction of new taxiways, platforms, light signaling equipment is being planned.
